Basic Vehicle Rescue Operations Training Photos

Record setting temperatures of over 90 degrees did not stop Jefferson Township Firefighters from training. Five Jefferson firefighters along with nearly 15 others from Moscow, Dickson City & Jessup spent their Saturday completing the practical section of the 16-hour Pennsylvania Department of Health Basic Vehicle Rescue Operations Program (part 2 of 3) hosted by Moscow Fire Company. Crews practiced their skills throughout the day using only simple hand tools to remove the roof, gain access and tunnel through the trunk and floor of a vehicle along with other hand tool tasks on two vehicles. Jefferson Township firefighters participating included: Captain Jason Crambo, Assistant Chief Ben Shaffer, FF Don Wallace, Assistant Chief Jamie Wallace, FF Steve Zawicki.
