    Rapid Intervention Teams

    Description: This program will prepare fire department personnel for implementation of a stand-by rescue team at structure fires and certain other especially hazardous incidents. The course content relies heavily on the successful experiences of departments that have implemented and utilized the concept.

    Trench Rescue Awareness

    Description: This course will give the responder the knowledge of how to respond to a trench collapse emergency. The course will point out the hazards associated with trench collapse and actions that the responder can take prior to the arrival of the rescue team. Topics include case studies, collapse types, hazard control and identification, shoring overview, and initial response actions.
